After removing the seeds and stem of fully ripened Ume, the Ume flesh are puréed and strained, then carefully stewed to obtain the Ume juice concentrate. Amaterasu is a mutant Japanese plum which was discovered in Saito City, Miyazaki Prefecture. Amaterasu is certified by Ministry of Agriculture in Japan. Amaterasu can only grow in Mr. Sasaki’s farm. It is very special for its fleshy and thick plum meat compare with typical Nanko plum. It is also uniform in size and thickness. By carefully brewing in a jar, a rich, sweet and elegant taste of plum wine is completed. Please enjoy it with ice cube or soda water. 14% Alcohol

This Barley Shochu Base Umeshu is made by steeping high quality plum from Miyazaki Prefecture in authentic honkaku shochu. The original plum liquor is using fully ripen Nanko plums made in Nichinan, Miyazaki prefecture. Once plums are ripened and naturally dropped from the tree, then picked by hand. The old method of plum liquor preparation is usually done at home, brewed plums and rock sugar in honkaku shochu. Please enjoy the clean and refreshing taste. 12% Alcohol
